Pasquale Jordan Liguori (born 11 December 1990) is a British photographer, video blogger, artist, musician, and filmmaker. His most notable works are the comedy fantasy web series Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures. In July 2016, his main channel reached 1 million subscribers.

Early lifeEdit

PJ Liguori was born in Peterborough, England. He attended the University for Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey, England, and graduated in 2013.



PJ started making videos on YouTube in late 2007, and has since then, steadily gained around 1 million subscribers. He is well known for his sketches and animations, impressions, humor, and creative short films. His friend, Chris Kendall (Crabstickz) regularly appears in his videos. PJ hit 400,000 subscribers on September 22, 2013. On July 29, Pj hit a million subscribers on his main channel.

Fantastic FoursomeEdit

PJ is a member of the famous "Fantastic Foursome", a group of English youtubers consisting of PJ, Phil Lester (AmazingPhil), Chris Kendall (Crabstickz) and Dan Howell (Danisnotonfire).

Short filmsEdit

He specializes in short films that usually contain some degree of psychedelia, space, and/or fantasy elements embedded in them. His contributions to his short films most often consist of the multi-talents of writing screenplay, directing, song writing, creating props, acting, producing, editing, sound, costume, and soundtrack. In November 2012, PJ won a Virgin Media award for his short film 'PJ, Tiny Planet Explorer'.


PJ has released his own music, the most well-known being his album called "Stories From Somewhere". He describes his music as "Anti-Folk".


Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical CreaturesEdit

In late 2014, Liguori partnered with New Form Digital to create a 10 minute short film pilot entitled Oscar's Hotel. The film follows a young man named Oliver, portrayed by Chris Kendall, who visits his uncle's hotel. This hotel turns out to host monsters as guests. A particular monster suddenly wreaks havoc in the hotel, and Oliver, with his newfound friends, conquer the beast. The series features various YouTubers, including Danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil, Pewdiepie, and CutiePieMarzia. Liguori announced in April 2015 that Oscar's Hotel would be funded and picked up as a six-episode web series by Vimeo, entitled Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures. The series was produced by New Form Digital and The Jim Henson Company. The first episode of the web series aired on Vimeo on 15 September 2015, and one episode aired per week over the course of six weeks.

Colour BanditsEdit

In late 2013, Liguori released a video on his YouTube channel (KickthePJ) by the title "Colour Bandits". This film depicts Liguori as a "Colour Bandit" wearing all white and caked in white make-up. Liguori also narrates saying,"Sitting before you is not a man, but merely a cracked shell, A shell of the lightest pastels to the darkest hues, ... Except to desaturate worlds and leave completely unfazed, do not be amazed, for Colour Bandits have no morals these days." While he saying this and more the "Colour Bandit" gets destroyed by different colours. This is one of the most viewed videos on Liguori's channel.
